- Never share personal information about digital banking logins, account numbers or other personal identification information like your Date of Birth or Social Security Number by text. We will never request this info by text.
- If you receive a suspicious call from someone claiming to represent Heritage Bank, ask for a number to call them back later. Then, contact your branch to confirm the call is legitimate.
- Heritage Bank will not call or text you to inquire about log in information for digital banking, your account numbers or other personal information like your Date of Birth or Social Security Number. If you initiate a call with Heritage Bank, we may ask you for the last four digits of the Social Security Number to confirm your identity, but only if you call us.
- Always report suspicious interaction with the bank. It might be legitimate, but it could also be a scam. Customers of all banks are targeted by scammers, so a little caution is the smart response.
