Lee Scheben

Lee was born into a family of bankers serving communities throughout Northern Kentucky. He was recruited to Heritage Bank by our founder and chief architect, Arnold Caddell. Today, he is president of Heritage Bank.

Barry Lampley

Barry cut his teeth at large banks right out of college then gravitated to community banks later in his career. As a native to the region, Barry is committed to building up local businesses and businesspeople. As an experienced bank leader, he wants to work where he isn’t hindered by bureaucracy and decision makers who don’t know our town.

“The ultimate validation is when customers tell me, ‘I trust you.’ Once they view me as a trusted advisor, I know I’m adding value to their business and to their lives.”

 

Peter Weickgenannt

When Peter was a kid, his favorite game was Monopoly. He was always the banker. When he grew up and launched a real-life banking career, Peter discovered he loved learning his customers’ businesses and working with passionate entrepreneurs.

“The part I appreciate most about working in banking is seeing the impact we can have on people’s lives and on the communities we serve. It’s the reason I’m excited to get to work every day.”

 

Steven Caddell

Steven is a third-generation banker at an institution his grandfather founded and his father led with vision and vigor. “As a kid, I knew I wanted to be a banker. Today, my goal is to ensure Heritage Bank continues to fulfill its mission to the communities we serve and remains an independent alternative to national banks."

Since joining Heritage Bank, Steven has been a teller, a consumer underwriter and a credit analyst. As a loan officer, he brings a 360-degree view of the bank. Whatever his customers need, Steven knows what’s possible at Heritage Bank and who can make it happen.

Although Steven is a native of Northern Kentucky and a graduate of Northern Kentucky University, he also has strong ties to Greece, his mother’s homeland. He has visited the country several times and speaks Greek.

Pat O'Donnell

Pat was surrounded by numbers people growing up. His mother was a bookkeeper and his brother was a banker. So, a 40 plus year career in banking might seem inevitable. But it’s the people he serves who fuel Pat’s passion. That’s why so many of his customers have referred their customers to him.

“I love to see how different businesses make money and understand why each customer is so passionate about what they do. It’s gratifying to play a part in helping entrepreneurs meet their goals.”

Andy Johnston

“I love visiting locally owned businesses. I learn something new from my customers every day. I wish more people knew of the many locally produced products and services benefiting people around the world.”

In addition to championing his customers, Andy coaches his kids’ sports teams onto victory. He eats dinner with his family every night and understands how hard his customers are working for their families, too.

Ken Kramp

Ken Kramp has been called “very persistent” and “determined” by customers who consider him an invaluable advisor when navigating challenging economic conditions, industry transitions or growth pains. He has developed deep relationships with some of the region’s leading entrepreneurs.

Ken was trained to be an accountant, but when he realized bankers were paid to learn about new industries and business models while solving problems for entrepreneurs, Ken knew which career path was the best fit. Today, when he speaks to young people considering a career in banking, he tells them to buckle up for a ride that can send you soaring on good days, have you bracing for a bump now and then, but is always worth the ticket price.

Ken’s love of learning extends to travel. He looks forward to trips where he can learn a new culture, a new cuisine and even a new hobby. He is a certified scuba diver, ready for underwater adventures, too.

Guy Hampton

In the prime of his career, Guy chose to work at Heritage Bank because he values the professionalism, efficiency and collaboration across the bank on behalf of his customers. Guy’s customers are more than business contacts — they are friends and often view him as family.

“I helped a customer write a toast for his daughter’s wedding and was honored to become a godparent for another customer’s son. It’s really special to build a relationship so strong, you’re invited into your customers’ personal lives.”

In just a little more than 15 years, Justin has built a well-rounded career in banking. He has worked as a personal banker, as a small business banker, as a branch manager and now as a commercial loan officer. Regardless of the banking role, Justin learned success in banking requires an affinity for people as well as a firm grasp of numbers. After an early stint in a much larger bank, Justin enjoys Heritage Bank’s culture and feels empowered to make decisions in the best interest of his customers rather than focus on meeting sales targets.

Benjamin Johnson

Benjamin Johnson knows all the best spots in greater Cincinnati – including the Museum Center, the Zoo, Kings Island and Graeter's – and he definitely knows his way around small business financing. Ben is a two-time Alloy (formally HCDC) Lender of the Year who set the pace for lending to small and mid-sized businesses at his previous banks, but he came to Heritage Bank to recapture the spirit of community banking.

“Banking should be simple and approachable—not dull, and not needlessly complicated like at many banks”, said Ben who enjoys the diverse range of businesses he has been able to help grow during his banking career as well as riding sidecar on their entrepreneurial adventures. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, and whets his taste for adventure through Jurassic Park films and travel.

Angela Hagedorn

If you’re a small businessperson, Angela Hagedorn is someone you should know. She is inspired by helping every size local business succeed, whether you’re a start-up or into your third generation, whether you’re a sole proprietor or ready to expand to new locations, whether you need a conventional loan or assistance navigating the SBA.

And to know Angela is to love her like a member of the family. She’s on the call list and group texts for many customers when they have personal news to share. Angela has celebrated life milestones with her customers and grieved with them.

Speaking of family, Angela recharges by spending time with her children and husband. She also inherited a strong dose of wanderlust from her parents, collecting fond memories of trips to Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Acadia National Park and the East U.S. coastline. Coming home is always more special after exploring other vistas.

Ian Addington

“We’re rooting for you.” That’s what Ian Addington wants our business banking customers to know. Heritage Bank exists to make local small businesses successful.

When you work with Ian, he skips the buzz words and talks to you like a neighbor. He is a calming, steady presence, encouraging customers to maintain perspective in all moments. Maybe it’s his love of history, maybe it’s living and working where he was raised or maybe it’s the advice someone gave him early in his career.

David Gronotte, Jr.

David Gronotte is happy to meet at his office or yours but sitting behind a desk all day is not his style. As a commercial loan officer at a community bank, David prefers to be out meeting entrepreneurs, talking to local leaders, learning about area businesses and volunteering. He is driven by curiosity and known for his courtesy. Customers can expect prompt responses, a deep understanding of their businesses and creative solutions. Neighbors often know him as a high school soccer and Lacrosse referee as well as a devoted husband and father.

Ryan Bihl

Ryan’s high school and college friends would be surprised to learn he wears a suit to work every day, but Ryan always pictured himself in banking. Inspired by an uncle who built a successful commercial lending career, he is now 25 years into his own banking career. Ryan is a well-rounded banker whose personal experience as a retail manager, personal banker and licensed investment representative informs his advice as a commercial banker. Customers also appreciate his empathy, humility and top-notch customer service. In his spare time, Ryan officiates youth soccer matches and helps run a local church bingo.

Nick Eberhard

Nick is a great fit for Heritage Bank because the bank’s values reflect his own upbringing. He still believes the best way to succeed is to help others succeed.

Nick’s curiosity is also an asset to his career. “When I know my customers and the nuances of their businesses, I make better recommendations. Better recommendations move them closer to realizing their dreams.”
